Areola Size
Besides colour, most brands also let you choose the areola size. Unlike colour, this isn't paint, it's a structural change: the diameter of the painted area is set at the production stage and shapes the proportions of the doll's breasts.
How it works
There are usually 2-3 options available: small, medium and large areolas. The size is set at the mould stage (the doll's body form). This sets the basic nipple contour, after which the artist marks it out and paints it in your chosen shade.

- The areola size is set once and permanently. It can't be changed after production.
- Not every brand offers this modification. If there's no such option in the customisation, then that model has a fixed areola size.
How to choose a size
A simple rule of proportion applies here. Small and medium areolas look more natural on smaller breasts. For larger breasts, medium or large areolas work better. Small areolas on large breasts look unnatural.
Otherwise, it's down to your own preference. If you don't have a specific request, go by the studio photos of the model.
